The Natural White Noise Machine
This white noise generator is created from carefully selected recordings of wind and rain, gathered overnight in different forest locations, but mostly in Quebec. The recordings have been chosen to cover the full range of human hearing. Each slider represents a specific frequency band, allowing users to shape the sound to their preference.
Unlike synthetic white noise, which remains constant, this natural version features subtle variations. The organic fluctuations of wind and rain make it more natural and comfortable to the ear, reducing listener fatigue over long periods. It also creates a sound that blends into the background more effortlessly.
By adjusting the sliders, users can create different types of noise, from deep and heavy to light and airy. This makes it a flexible tool for relaxation, focus, or sleep—offering the benefits of white noise with the added richness of real-world sounds.

Beautifully soothing. Just what I needed to listen to today after an exhausting day at work.

Such depth, while everything is blending so smoothly - truly mesmerizing.

The Grey preset is so soothing. This is truly a masterpiece. Thank you, Dr. Stéphane! - Sofia

Music to my ears. I like this so much better than Brownish White. And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

A great iteration on the Foliage Wind generator and thus a new favorite. Thank you, Dr. Pigeon!

I absolutely love this setting! Brown noise truly helps calm my racing thoughts; it brings back fond memories of cozy rainy days in my cousin’s garden basement with the doors wide open. I can vividly imagine myself in the mountains, soaking in the beauty of nature while enjoying the new Owl City album and doodling in my journal. What a perfect escape. Thanks for the memories!

Exactly what you'd want from an organic white noise generator. Perfect combo of wind and rain (with the custom sliders, of course, so it's got my perfect AND your perfect in there somewhere) and the gentle shifts that make it real instead of just static. The only problem is that it's too perfect, and now I'd rather just sit peacefully and listen instead of doing my work. Oops.

You might think that white noise is white noise, but if you listen to this soundscape, you will realize the power and depth that is hidden in it when real, organic white noise sources, recorded in the finest quality, are arranged together in a way that only Stéphane knows how to do. Once again, absolutely captivating.

I loaded up this generator at first just expecting to listen for a minute or two before deciding if it was for me. I started working, and here 45 minutes later, I didn't realize I've had it on the whole time. Listening to this, the outside noise just melted away and truly helped me focus in. Outstanding natural sounds that clearly get me in the zone!
