Exams are coming soon, and the school has graciously opened the reading room of the old library for students to study — provided, of course, they keep their voices down. Even though it's just after midnight, the room still has plenty of those students working at the long, wooden tables.
You sit at one of those tables near a corner, nodding a greeting to the others nearby, then open your notebook to review your work and jot down your ideas. Warm light fills the room from lamps scattered about.
There's a storm brewing in the distance, but it's not raining ... yet (slider 6). Instead, the room is a cozy oasis filled with quietly chatting students preparing for tests, papers, and the end of the term. If it gets chilly, someone is likely to light the old fireplace (slider 3), but at the moment you're enjoying the quiet, relaxing space.

● It took a while to get the elements to my liking — relaxing but a little busy to avoid feeling lonely. I tried not to include sounds that might be easily noticeable when they loop, but I wanted a combination of room "tone" (students talking) and closer sounds (papers turning). I hope I got it right. I deliberately included both rain and fireplace sounds for those who like to add them.

To create your custom composite generator, browse the site for slider contents: open any generator on myNoise, and select the sliders you want to use in your custom set by 'zeroing' all others, then hit [c] to collect all active sliders into a hidden stack. Move to a next generator and repeat the process until you have accumulated 10 sliders. Now hit [shift+c] to render your custom composite generator. At any point, press [x+c] to clear the hidden stack.
