A contribution by Squid8

A single stem of plucked strings dominates the mid and higher frequencies, drawing your attention to its relaxing melody and away from the deeper binaural beats tucked away in a subtle lower frequency soundscape. I find this a lot more comfortable and pleasant to listen to than binaural beats alone, while still leaving them clear and loud enough for them to work their magic.

This uses three binaural stems: base, +8Hz, and +16Hz, which should promote relaxation and focus. It's simple to mute them and use other beats as you prefer, or to just enjoy the sound without any binaural beats.

Also, the plucking stem (Friends of Winter 0, sped up) is delightful and I'd love to see more uses of it.

I like this! I've used it several times while working. More focus noise generators, please.

Create Your Own

Use a laptop or desktop computer, as you will be asked to use keyboard shortcuts.

To create your custom composite generator, browse the site for slider contents: open any generator on myNoise, and select the sliders you want to use in your custom set by 'zeroing' all others, then hit [c] to collect all active sliders into a hidden stack. Move to a next generator and repeat the process until you have accumulated 10 sliders. Now hit [shift+c] to render your custom composite generator. At any point, press [x+c] to clear the hidden stack.
