Wearily, you struggle to crawl as far as you can away from the smoldering wreck of your spacecraft. Your head is filled with a rushing sound. When you find you can go no further, you collapse onto the red earth. Your vision is cloudy, but you begin to make out details of your surroundings. Now you realize that the ground is not red with dust, but blanketed by crimson grass. The ruby blades shiver in a breeze you cannot feel. When you manage to turn your neck, you realize that the rushing noise is not in your head – rather it comes from a strong river flowing nearby. Mingled with the river's song is another melody, one that fills you with peace despite your pain & weariness. Suddenly, two figures enter your vision; they appear human but for the golden hue of their skin. They stoop down, seeming to inspect you. Once they assess your condition, they rise & begin to dance. You watch their graceful motions with enchantment, & as they twirl ever faster, you realize your pain is disappearing.
