What cozy rain falling on a window listening to a crackling fire, howling wind outside my cottage means to me: How safe and content I am! Even as I hear the thunder crackling! The rolling thunder and pounding rain drops against the tin roof and window panes offer up a soothing peaceful content. Crackling cedar logs spark blissful slumber within my thoughts as I drift off to sleep, peacefully. Joy!

This is my favorite sound. Like on a train. I'm reading textbook tonight, studying for the big exam tomorrow. Next time I play this sound, we'll be sitting together reading fiction, then we'll play some board games. Then it's time for lunch, and I bet you'll like it.

I have ADHD and I always find it hard to concentrate, especially when I am trying to write and there are so many distractions. I just load this in and I am able to calm my mind down, allowing me the ability to be more creative and write longer. Thank you, myNoise!

This is what I heard whenever there a big thunderstorm was on it's way when I was a kid in the house I grew up in. I always felt so safe. But also intrigued and disturbed how mother nature´s forces are bigger than all humans forces on earth united. It's quite beautiful.

Beautiful generator! Maybe some other people will enjoy my settings. It's best with "Summer Night Thunder" or "Distant Thunder" plus "Rain On A Tent" in my opinion.

This is the exact generator I have wanted for sooo long! I've always tried to make my own version by combining Distant Thunder (playing only thunder) with either White Rain or Tin Roof Rain with their treble sliders lowered, but this beats even that! It even has the infrequent pings made by rain hitting the metal vent cap on the roof! Simply amazing, the myNoise team has really outdone themselves! [Editor: it is not a team, but a single person - haha]

Aaaand that's another one saved for later! Sounds great, very good at blocking noise, and makes me feel oh so cozy.

Funeralopolis, grey morgue apocalypse. Black clouds form to block out the sun. Funeral planet, dead black asteroid. A perfect generator of all things dready, bleak, windy, distant, isolated, alone and calming. It puts me back into my own personal tomb where nothing but the calmness of the world and the pitter patter of the rain matter. Beautiful. Tremendous.

Amazing work, sir. You have outdone yourself again. A totally immersive sound world; a recursive symphony that shatters the dichotomy of atonality vs harmony, having both in equal measure. Actually really wonderful to just get lost in listening, and temporarily subdue the malignant, constant background chatter inflicted by the tyrannical ego. John Cage would be proud!

Thunder resounds overhead, through thin, wooden walls. The deep rumble settles into your bones as rain pitter patters on the tin roof, and spare droplets drip down the windows. It's almost peaceful, for a thunderstorm. The crackle of the nearby fire blends into the wonderous cacophony. You are safe, and warm. What a nice night.

I am looking out my window, 3600 feet in altitude on Halelakalā volcano, Maui... the sky is completely overcast... chance of rain? - With this generator, always 100%. ;-)

Using the animation setting is perfect. It makes it feel more realistic, because rain never stays at the same tempo or tone. When the thunder disappears for a while, and there's only a few drops of rain, and then when the rain and thunder comes back in full force - the Dr. captures it all!

I love listening to the rain when I am in bed (and able to have the bedroom window open). I find it so relaxing - even more so with distant thunder. I live in southern Spain so it doesn’t rain that often. With this, I can set it whenever I like to emulate that relaxing sound I love so much.

This is brand new and I just found this. I'm hooked already. It doesn't rain very much around here, so if I close my eyes, I feel like it is raining. Bravo!

I used to live in a house with an aluminum roof. I loved it when it rained. Now I live in an apartment in which I can't hear rain sounds so well. Thank you for another great generator that gives me my rain back.

Nothing but dreary rain outside while you are cosy inside - the perfect place to be. You can relax as there is nowhere to go, let the soft rain calm your thoughts to allow you to relax and either rest or be productive.

I like to use this kind of generator when it's actually raining outside, to cancel all other noises and fully immerse in the reality that it is, in fact, raining. It's a way to relax and fully experience the weather, when its real-life audible manifestations are just not enough!

Oh? New stuff added? Oh! Instant favorite! And then I realize that for a guy that does not enjoy the rain for its sadness, and does not like to be wet, cold and humid, I have all the rain noise as a favorite. Is it serious, doctor?
